Our Winter camps have become increasingly popular. We are limited to 15 campers by heated accommodations. Dependent of weather, campers are able to choose from a variety of programs listed above. But no worries! We keep busy no matter what the weather! If we have snow, of course we can work through the snow activities listed above. If it's exceptionally warm (like it was in 2006), the kids might just spend most their day outside, playing, hiking, riding and more playing. If it's cold, but no snow, the arts and crafts will be busy, as will the indoor games and don't forget about the hot chocolate! Because our farm has an indoor riding arena, campers that come to ride will never be disappointed.
Back by popular demand, Horseng Farm will be offering a week long extensive vaulting clinic for those that wanted a more in depth vaulting experience than what they were able to get at camp. This clinic coincided with winter camp and participants were still able to get in plenty of riding, talking and playing time as well! It is a chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones, say "hi" and spend time with your friends, see what the farm looks like in the snow. A new use of Winter camp has been for those thinking about coming to summer camp and wanting to check us out in a smaller environment. Programming is more flexible and easier paced than summer camp.
